Render case study

Glossy 3D objects around the Render R: cherries, a heart, a floppy disk, a light bulb and a CD
Render

Render makes glossy, studio-lit 3D possible in a browser tab. No Blender, no learning curve. Pick a shape, pick a material, hit render. The product found its audience in beta, but the brand hadn’t caught up. It looked like a developer tool and undersold the one thing people came for: beautiful output in minutes. We rebuilt the identity around that output, so the brand doesn’t describe what Render makes. It shows it.

Scope

  • Brand & Identity
  • Product design
  • Web & Launch
The Render R in its gradient on black
The Render R drawn on its construction grid
The Render app icon on a pink and orange gradient
The Render editor on a laptop, arranging a scene of 3D stickers

Made in Render.

The brand is its own demo. Every 3D object in the identity, from the mark to the stickers, is something a Render user could make on day one. The launch assets also ship as templates, so a new user’s first file looks like the ad that brought them in.
